Scratch on Lake - Oak Park

Scratch on Lake is an urban, funky burger/sandwich joint with killer mac n cheese. Located in Oak Park on Lake St, we have the same menu as Scratch Kitchen and Lounge in Forest Park, with a larger space, more “restaurant” feel and awesome full bar with specialty cocktails. We also have live music on the weekends and regular Bingo and Trivia nights.

Our goal is to serve our favorites, prepared perfectly from Scratch, never frozen (we joke that we only freeze ice. Oh, we make that too).

A full pound of chicken legs brined & oven-roasted. Choose your tossing sauce: Carolina BBQ, honey Sriracha, buffalo ranch, Asian, or blue cheese ranch!

Half a pound of tenders, breaded & fried or pan seared. Served with a side of fries & your choice of blue cheese ranch, buffalo ranch, Asian, Carolina BBQ or honey Sriracha.

Grilled spicy Italian sausage, sauteed with housemade giardiniera & served with toast points.

Greens, cabbage, cheddar, cucumbers, blue cheese, red onion, black olives, tortilla strips & bacon. Tossed with homemade blue cheese ranch dressing or balsamic vinaigrette. Add chicken to salad. 3

Spicy Italian sausage patty, pepper jack cheese, fire-roasted jalapenos, cheese sauce & Sriracha on a potato bun.

Our killer vegetarian patty (black beans, edamame, great northern beans, garbanzos, roasted corn, cilantro, jalapeno, lime & breadcrumbs), topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and yogurt-dill sauce on a potato bun.

Feeling creative? Build your own masterpiece! Start with a beef, pork, turkey or lamb patty… pick a cheese, veggies & sauce and go crazy… we dare you to add bacon, bacon jam, pulled pork or an egg ($2 charge).


We start with a roasted shallot Besciamella sauce, add our cheese, slow simmer, & top with a toasted Panko crust. ok, pick your portion: BIG or BIGGER!
