Scratch Kitchen & Lounge is an urban, funky burger/sandwich joint with killer mac n cheese. We opened in January 2012 on Madison St in Forest Park and have grown tremendously since then. As our name implies, everything is made from scratch, in-house, with no exceptions.

We offer live music on the weekends and a great brunch every Saturday and Sunday. We also regularly have Bingo and Trivia nights. At Scratch Kitchen & Lounge we like low lights and loud music.

Starters

A full pound of chicken legs (because wings are for the birds!), brined & oven-roasted. Choose your tossing sauce: Carolina BBQ, honey Sriracha, buffalo ranch, Asian, or blue cheese ranch.

Grilled spicy Italian sausage, sauteed with housemade giardiniera and served with toast points.

Half a pound of buttermilk brined chicken tenders, breaded & fried or grilled. Served with a side of fries and your choice of ranch, buffalo ranch, Asian, Carolina BBQ or honey Sriracha.

Mixed greens, cabbage, cheddar, cucumbers, crumbled blue cheese, red onion, black olives, tortilla strips and bacon. Tossed with homemade ranch-blue cheese dressing or balsamic vinaigrette.

House-ground lamb patty seasoned with mint, feta & kalamata olives, topped with cucumber, red onion, tomato & yogurt-dill sauce on a potato bun.

House ground turkey, sundried tomatoes, melted American-Swiss blend, lettuce, tomato, onion, served on a potato bun.

Spicy Italian sausage patty, pepper jack cheese, fire-roasted jalapenos, cheese sauce & Sriracha on a potato bun.

Our killer vegetarian patty (black beans, edamame, great northern beans, garbanzos, roasted corn, cilantro, jalapeno, lime & breadcrumbs), topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and yogurt-dill sauce on a potato bun.

Feeling creative? Build your own masterpiece! Start with a beef, pork, turkey or lamb patty… pick a cheese, veggies & sauce and go crazy… we dare you to add bacon, bacon jam, pulled pork or an egg ($2 charge).

MAC ATTACK

We start with a roasted shallot Besciamella sauce, add our cheese, slow simmer, and top with a toasted Panko crust.

Classic mac, with roasted poblano peppers, jalapeno, cilantro and topped with spicy panko crust and a sriracha drizzle.

Clarified butter garlic, parmesan and parsley.

Four-cheese house sauce, jalapeno, cilantro, olives, bacon and crema.

Slow-roasted pork, cheese sauce, ancho crema and slaw.

Feta, lemon, oregano, kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, olive oil, cucumber and tzatziki.

SANDWICHES

8oz. buttermilk-brined chicken breast, grilled or fried, served with LTO. Get funky… add cheese, bacon, veggies & sauce.

Slow roasted pulled pork, Carolina BBQ, tangy slaw and house brined B&B pickles, served on a butter bun.

Our pesto, hand pulled fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, lettuce and red onion, served on a toasted Sicilian baguette.

Imported ham, seared and topped with pulled pork and Provolone, house cured B&B pickles and mustard, pressed.

Slow roasted pork, chopped white onion, roasted tomatillo-cilantro salsa. Served on toasted Naan bread with melted Provolone and ancho crema.

Sweet cream bacon spiked waffle topped with house ground breakfast sausage patty, french fried chicken tenderloins tossed in bourbon spike honey-syrup,

We take a 14″ flour tortilla and stuff it with sausage, bacon, chorizo, poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese, cilantro and jalapeno. Rolled and topped with crema and tomatillo salsa.

Roasted red potatoes, house ground sausage, bacon, peppers, mushrooms, onions, spinach and melted aged cheddar. Topped with your choice of egg style.
